1.   The following COLLEGE REPRESENTATIVES will be here:  Salon Schools – NEXT Tuesday, November 13 and Bowling Green – NEXT Wednesday, November 14.  Any JUNIOR or SENIOR interested in speaking with these representatives should SIGN UP on the GUIDANCE OFFICE BULLETIN BOARD.

 2.   The VARSITY CHOIR ENSEMBLE will REHEARSE TONIGHT from 7:00 to 8:30.

 3.   There will be a BPA MEETING IMMEDIATELY AFTER SCHOOL TODAY until 2:45.  BRING any SUPPLIES needed for your committee and/or your competition.

 4.   ATTENTION WINTER ATHLETES:  Your PAY TO PARTICIPATE FEE is DUE by NOON Monday, November 12.  If you have NOT PAID by the DEADLINE, you will NOT be allowed to PRACTICE or PARTICIPATE until the FEE is CLEARED.  The FEE is to be PAID to Coach Smith or Mrs. Sells in the ATHLETIC OFFICE.  Your COACH CAN NOT ACCEPT the payment.

 5.   CONGRATULATIONS to NOVEMBER’S FALCON PRIDE STUDENTS:  Garrett Jordan, Katie Powell, Rylee Newcomer, Chelsea Spencer, Landon Lindemer, Karol Peterson, Mike Nance and Kelsie Warner.

 6.   FCCLA is SPONSORING a FOOD DRIVE for the Concord Community Food Pantry.  Bring in NON-PERISHABLE ITEMS and place them in the BOX by the MAIN OFFICE or the BOX in the CAFETERIA.

 7.   GHS BOYS BOWLING team needs PARTICIPANTS.  Currently there are not enough bowlers to field a full team.  Certified coaches will help develop bowlers of any skill level.  If you are INTERESTED, contact the ATHLETIC OFFICE for COACH’S INFORMATION.

 8.   This is the FINAL WEEK to ORDER YEARBOOKS at the DISCOUNTED PRICE of $55.00.  ORDER FORMS are AVAILABLE in the MAIN OFFICE or in ROOM B130.  SEE ANY YEARBOOK STAFF member if you have questions.

 9..  The FALL SPORTS AWARDS NIGHT is NEXT WEDNESDAY EVENING, November 14, at 7:00 at the HS.  If you are NOT ABLE to ATTEND, you MUST be EXCUSED ahead of time by your COACH in order to receive your award.

10.  All juniors will be taking a practice ACT college entrance exam on Thursday, November 29.  The exam will begin at 7:45 am and should conclude by approximately 11:15.  Students who do not attend GHS full days need to make arrangements ahead of time in order to be here the entire time of the practice exam.  Students are to bring pencils and their personal calculator for use on the math portion of the exam.

Full-time Ohio Hi-Point (OHP) juniors are expected to be in attendance at GHS for the practice ACT.  Bus transportation to OHP will NOT be available following the test, so OHP juniors are to make other transportation arrangements ahead of time, as they are expected to attend afternoon classes once released from the exam. OHP students not attending afternoon classes following the exam will be considered unexcused from OHP unless excused by a parent/guardian.

Students will be assigned to the following testing locations based on first letter of the last name:

 A-D     C138 (Miss Manson’s room)

 E-H      A108 (Mr. Bowsher’s room)

 I-O      B147 (Miss Prill’s room)

 P-Z      Media Center
