1.   CONGRATULATIONS to the SEPTEMBER FALCON PRIDE STUDENTS:  Hannah Bugg, Donald Saunders, Zeik Reickhoff-Roberts, Abby Lanich, Mitchell Aills, Danielle Kendall, Alex Trame and Mason Dail.

 2.   There will be a STUDENT SENATE/ALL CLASS OFFICERS MEETING TODAY AFTER SCHOOL in Mrs. Lichty’s room.

 3.   A representative from Urbana University will be here NEXT WEEK on Monday.  Any JUNIOR or SENIOR interested in speaking with this representative should SIGN UP on the guidance bulletin board.

 4.   The 2012 YEARBOOKS ARE IN!  YOU can PICK UP your YEARBOOK BEFORE or AFTER SCHOOL in Miss Cromwell’s ROOM (B130).  Also, if you DID NOT ORDER a 2012 YEARBOOK LAST SCHOOL YEAR, there are SOME AVAILABLE for SALE for $70 BEFORE or AFTER SCHOOL in Miss Cromwell’s room.

 5.   ATTENTION SENIORS:  Your CLASS OFFICERS are giving you the opportunity to DESIGN your SENIOR T-SHIRT.  SUBMIT your DESIGNS to Mrs. Randall (B152) by October 1.  REMEMBER the DESIGN MUST be SCHOOL APPROPRIATE.

 6.   ANY STAFF MEMBER who would like to HELP with the Graham Cross Country Invitational should SEE Coach Buschur or Coach Smith, Athletic Director.

 7.   THIS COMING SATURDAY (9/15) the Erin Patton Agency is partnering with SADD and MADD to HOST a FREE concert called “Celebrate My Drive” and EVERYONE is INVITED.  The CONCERT will be at the Melvin Miller Park in Urbana from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and will feature SunCulture and Those One Guys.  There will be ACTIVITIES and PRIZES, like a NEW CAR.  In addition, State Farm will be GIVING a $100,000 GRANT to the SCHOOL with the MOST VOTES!  YOU and FAMILY MEMBERS can REGISTER TODAY thru SATURDAY at www.celebratemydrive.com.

 8.   The 5th ANNUAL MANDY DEPPEN 5K will be Sunday AFTERNOON, October 7, at 2:00 at the GYAA Park in Saint Paris.  REGISTER by Friday, September 21, for $20 and receive a t-shirt or get 4 people to form a group and pay $18 each.  For more INFORMATION and REGISTER ON-LINE go to www.mandydeppen.org or SEE Mrs. Deppen in STUDY HALL.

 9.   ANY SENIOR NOT currently taking ECON or GOVERNMENT and would like to REGISTER to VOTE should SEE Mr. Randall by TOMORROW.

 10. There will be a MANDATORY NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY MEETING NEXT Wednesday (9/19) AFTER SCHOOL in Mrs. Schmidt’s room.  ALL CURRENT MEMBERS are EXPECTED to ATTEND.

 11. SCHOOL PICTURES are NEXT WEEK on Thursday.  REMINDER:  BEFORE you can ORDER PICTURES, you MUST PAY SCHOOL FEES.  ALL UNDERCLASSMAN students MUST have their picture taken whether you are ordering or not.  This is so your picture will appear in the yearbook.  SENIORS:  you MUST have your picture taken as well as this is for the SENIOR COMPOSITE, which are the pictures that are hung in the hallways, and if you DO NOT get a SENIOR PICTURE SUBMITTED to the YEARBOOK STAFF by the DEADLINE, this will be the picture used for the yearbook.  SENIORS PLEASE DRESS APPROPRIATELY for this picture (NO T-SHIRTS or LOW-CUT TOPS).  The PHOTOGRAPHER will be SET-UP by 7:00 in the MORNING.   ANY STUDENT that is NOT HERE at the BEGINNING of the DAY, needs to MAKE ARRANGEMENTS to be here BETWEEN 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. to have your picture TAKEN as there will be NO guarantee that the photographer will still be here when you normally arrive to school.
