1.   REMINDER:  The FALL PLAY TRYOUTS are TODAY AFTER SCHOOL in Mrs. McIntosh’s room from 2:15 to 4:00. 

 2.   A representative from WRIGHT STATE UNIVERSITY will be here TOMORROW.  ANY JUNIOR or SENIOR interested in speaking with this representative should SIGN UP on the GUIDANCE BULLETIN BOARD.

 3.   DUE to this being OGT WEEK for JUNIORS and SENIORS, PICTURE RE-TAKE DAY is RESCHEDULED for Friday, November 2.  If you are having your picture retaken, bring your ORIGINAL pictures with you to give back to the photographer.  If you DID NOT have your picture taken on the original picture day, please HAVE your picture TAKEN for the yearbook and SENIORS for the SENIOR COMPOSITE.  The photographer will be SET UP by 7:00 in the MORNING for those that are NOT here 1st thing in the morning or those that attend Hi-Point, etc. ORDER FORMS are AVAILABLE in the MAIN OFFICE.

 4.   FCCLA will be COLLECTING POP TABS for the Ronald McDonald House UNTIL NEXT Tuesday, October 30.  POP TABS can be GIVEN to ANY FCCLA OFFICER or you can TAKE them to Mrs. Jarzab’s room, C102.

 5.   REMINDER to SENIORS:  DUE to PICTURE RE-TAKE DAY being RESCHEDULED, you can RETURN the COMPLETED bottom portion of the Lange Photographics ORDER FORM for a 10x13 COPY of the SENIOR COMPOSITE with  PAYMENT, if ordering , (CHECKS made PAYABLE to Lange Photographics) to the MAIN OFFICE by NEXT Wednesday, October 31.  EXTRA ORDER FORMS are AVAILABLE in the MAIN OFFICE.

 6.   SMD will be SPONSORING their ANNUAL PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST again this year.  If you are interested, SUBMIT your CARVED PUMPKIN by NEXT Monday, October 29.  The WINNER will be announced NEXT Tuesday and receive their prize.

 7.   CONGRATULATIONS to the BOYS CROSS COUNTRY TEAM for PLACING 3rd in this past weekend’s District Cross Country Meet.  QUALIFYING to the REGIONAL MEET for the BOYS are Mason Dail, Brady Newcomer, Parker Wright, Cole Butz, Devin Dunn and Alex Trame.  In addition, Julia Grabill QUALIFIED to the REGIONALS for the GIRLS with her 14th place performance.  Julia is the 1st Graham female runner to qualify for the Regional meet in Cross Country since 2006.  You can WATCH the boys RUN this SATURDAY MORNING at 11:45 and Julia at 2:15 in the AFTERNOON BEHIND Troy Stadium on the levee.  SUPPORT your FALCONS in their bid to return to the State Meet.  

 8.   THIS WEEK is RED RIBBON WEEK, which is DEDICATED to PREVENTING drug use and raising awareness.  The theme is:  “We are the Majority”.  Most HIGH SCHOOL students DO NOT use drugs or drink alcohol.  If someone asks you to try using drugs, just say NO and remember that not everyone is using drugs.

 9.   ATTENTION ALL CURRENT NHS MEMBERS:  CHECK your GOOGLE DOCS and SCHOOL EMAIL for DUE dates and CHANGES with the CARE PACKAGE PROJECT.  ALL LETTERS and DONATIONS are DUE to Mrs. Schmidt by the END of the DAY TODAY.

 10. There will be SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS MEETING NEXT Tuesday MORNING, October 30, at 7:00 in Mrs. Randall’s room. 

 11. SENIORS you will be VOTING on your CLASS T-SHIRT FRIDAY (10/26) in Mr. Randall’s room.  If you DO NOT have Mr. Randall for class, STOP in Mrs. Bechtel’s OFFICE to place your VOTE.
