 1.   CONGRATULATIONS to our ATHLETES OF THE MONTH, Rachel Stradling and Caleb Pumphrey.  To LEARN more about Caleb and Rachel, SEE the display case by the ATHLETIC OFFICE.

 2.   CONGRATULATIONS to the NEW FALCON PRIDE STUDENTS:  Emily Ogden, Ciara Green, Eli Hughes and Taylor Wilkins!

 3.   The BOWLING GREEN STATE UNIVERSITY MEN’S CHORUS will PERFORM at GMS Friday EVENING, November 11, at 7:30.  ADMISSION is FREE.  A free will offering will be collected to help defray touring costs

 4.   The ENTIRE JUNIOR CLASS will be TAKING a PRACTICE ACT NEXT Wednesday MORNING, November 9, from 7:45 to 11:15.  JVS students in attendance for the test WILL NOT be COUNTED ABSENT from Ohio Hi-Point.  PARENT PERMISSION is REQUIRED for ANY JVS student planning to LEAVE AFTER the test. JUNIOR JOB PLACEMENT and JUNIOR PSEOP students:  you MUST MAKE ARRANGEMENTS IN ADVANCE with your EMPLOYER and COLLEGE PROFESSORS to be HERE for the TEST.  ALL JUNIORS are to CHECK the ORANGE POSTINGS in and around the CAFETERIA for TESTING ROOM ASSIGNMENTS.

 5.   If you are INTERESTED in being a WRESTLING STATISTICIAN this season, SEE Mrs. Schlater THIS WEEK in the MEDIA CENTER BEFORE FIRST PERIOD.  If you are NOT ABLE to see her BEFORE FIRST PERIOD, LEAVE your name THIS WEEK with Mrs. Kauffman in the media center.

 6.   There will be a BASEBALL MEETING TODAY AFTER SCHOOL in ROOM A108.

 7.   The OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY CHAMPAIGN COUNTY ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP is AVAILABLE in the GUIDANCE OFFICE.

 8.   SOPHOMORES will be able to take the PLAN TEST (practice ACT) Wednesday MORNING, November 16, in the MEDIA CENTER during PERIODS 1-5.  SIGN UP and PAY the $11.25 FEE in the MAIN OFFICE by NEXT Thursday, November 10.

 9.   REMINDER to STAFF and STUDENTS:  The AUXILLARY GYM will be CLOSED ALL DAY TOMORROW for the BLOOD DRIVE.  NO ONE will be ADMITTED into the GYM until AFTER SCHOOL.  Please be courteous to our donors and respect their privacy while donating.  THOSE DONATING:   TODAY drink plenty of fluids and get a good nights rest.  TOMORROW:  EAT A GOOD BREAKFAST.  It is important to eat the morning of the blood drive.  BE READY at your APPOINTMENT TIME.  If you are a STUDENT DONATING, someone will ESCORT you from your classroom to the gym.  DO NOT JUST SHOW UP!  Be sure to BRING a PHOTO ID and parent permission form if applicable.  You will DONATE a PINT of blood (it will take 45-60 minutes).  AFTER DONATING:  Drink plenty of fluids and eat (snacks will be available).  THE DAY AFTER DONATING:  Still drink plenty of fluids.
