1.   JOIN HOSA in celebrating HEART HEALTH MONTH by WEARING RED TOMORROW (2/8).  Those who wear red will receive a sweet treat during lunch.  

 2.   FCCLA is SELLING CARNATIONS THRU TOMORROW (2/8) at the CONCESSION STAND DURING LUNCH PERIODS or you can SEE Mrs. Jarzab (C102) BEFORE or AFTER SCHOOL.  CARNATIONS will be 1 for $1.50 or 5 for $5.00.  They will come with a valentine and a candy treat.  Carnations will be DELIVERED on VALENTINE’S DAY during LAST PERIOD.  ALL PROCEEDS will go to the FCCLA SCHOLARSHIP FUND.

 3.   TRYOUT PACKETS are AVAILABLE in the ATHLETIC OFFICE and Coach Manson’s room for ANY GHS student INTERESTED in TRYING OUT  for the 2013/2014 CHEERLEADING SEASON.  TRYOUTS will be HELD Saturday, March 2 from 10:00 to 4:00.  MANDATORY CLINICS will be HELD in the EVENINGS on Tuesday, February 26 and Thursday, February 28 from 6:00 to 8:00.  SEE Coach Manson with QUESTIONS.

 4.   Mrs. Wallace’s FLIGHT TIME STUDENTS need to REPORT to the CAFETERIA for FLIGHT TIME TODAY (2/7).

 5.   ATTENTION ANY MEMBER OF A GHS ORGANIZATION:  GROUP PICTURE DAY is NEXT Tuesday (2/12).  CHECK the POSTING throughout the BUILDING for your organizations TIME SLOT.  You are RESPONSIBLE to KNOW your group’s TIME.  There will be NO announcements made to RELEASE you for your picture.  Pictures will be TAKEN in the MAIN GYM.

 6.   The following SCHOLARSHIPS are AVAILABLE in the GUIDANCE OFFICE:  the Sigma Alpha Scholarship, the Champaign County Cattlemen’s Association Scholarship, the Randy Eastman Memorial Scholarship, the Champaign County 4-H Home Economics Scholarship and the St. Paris Lion’s Club Scholarship..

 7.   There will be a STUDENT SENATE and ALL CLASS OFFICERS MEETING NEXT Tuesday (2/12) AFTER SCHOOL in Mrs. Lichty’s room.

 8.   During FLIGHT TIME TODAY (2/7) Mrs. Lichty will have a MATH CRAM SESSION for the ACT for JUNIORS and SENIORS.  You will MEET in Mrs. Hess’s room (C139).  SIGN UP in the MAIN OFFICE thru LUNCH TODAY for this session.  The session is LIMITED to 24 students.
