1.   Miss Carr’s 1st SEMESTER HEALTH CLASSES need to PICK UP your HEALTH BINDER, if you have not already done so, by END of SCHOOL TODAY (2/4).  If you DO NOT, it will be RECYCLED or DISCARDED.

 2.   FCCLA will be SELLING VALENTINE’S CARNATIONS thru NEXT Tuesday (2/11) in the CAFETERIA DURING LUNCH PERIODS.  Get your Valentine a sweet treat and a flower.

 3.   ANYONE interested in PARTICIPATING in a 5K to raise money for SPECIAL OLYMPICS needs to SEE Ms. Cromwell.  The event will take place in March.

 4.   FRESHMAN FOCUS will be FRIDAY (2/7).  FRESHMAN FOCUS LEADERS need to REPORT to Mrs. Howell’s ROOM THURSDAY (2/6) during FLIGHT TIME.

 5.   There will be a BPA COMMITTEE MEETING THURSDAY (2/6) AFTER SCHOOL.  If you are on the TORCH AWARDS, NO BULL or BPA CAVES COMMITTEE you NEED to ATTEND this MEETING.

 6.   The following SCHOLARSHIPS are AVAILABLE in the GUIDANCE OFFICE:  the Grand Lodge of the Free and Accepted Masons Scholarship, the St. Paris Lion’s Club Scholarship, the Delta Kappa Gamma Scholarship, the John Richard Memorial Scholarship, the Graham High School Scholarship and the Randy Eastman Scholarship.

 7.   CONGRATULATIONS to the following BAND MEMBERS who COMPETED this PAST weekend at the OMEA District Eleven Solo & Ensemble Competition:  SUPERIOR RANKINGS:  Sophie Lingrell, Jacob Regier, Elizabeth Kraft and the Saxophone Trio of Caitlin Lynch, Breanne Bair and Laryssa VanHoose.  Other students receiving EXCELLENT RANKINGS:  Jonah Perkins, Breanne Crockett, Chris Allen, Mandy Mosbarger, Clark Jarnagin, Anthony Drow, Josh Risner, the Trombone Trio of Josh Risner, Clark Jarnagin and Nathen Zavada and the Flute Trio of Clark Jarnagin, Mandy Mosbarger and Sophie Lingrell. 

 8.   ATTENTION STUDENTS:  There are currently 4 days that need to be made up due to weather related calamity days.  School will now be IN SESSION the following days:  Monday, February 17, Monday, March 31, Tuesday, April 1 and Monday, June 2.   DATES SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

 9.   SUPPORT your FALCONS NEXT WEEK for FALCON SPIRIT WEEK:  Monday – COLLEGE DAY, Tuesday - FAVORITE TEACHER DAY, Wednesday – MERICA DAY and Thursday – BLACKOUT/FALCON FANATIC DAY.  FLYERS are POSTED throughout the BUILDING.  SEE Ms. Manson or a CHEERLEADER if you have questions.
