1.   The MEDIA CENTER will OPEN to STUDY HALL STUDENTS BEGINNING THIS COMING Monday, August 29.  UNTIL that time, STUDENTS should ONLY REPORT to the MEDIA CENTER if you have a STUDY HALL SCHEDULED IN the MEDIA CENTER during LUNCH PERIODS.

 

2.   The ST. PARIS LIBRARY will be HOSTING a BOOK COVERING EVENT TODAY from 3 to 5 and THIS COMING Monday (8/29) from 3 to 7. 

 

3.   Students may go to the MEDIA CENTER TODAY to PICK UP COMPTER PASSWORDS.  BRING the COMPLETED PERMISSION FORM with you in order to get your password for COMPUTER ACCESS.

 

4.   STUDENT PRESALE TICKETS for the VARSITY FOOTBALL GAME TONIGHT at Tipp will be on SALE in the ATHLETIC OFFICE during LUNCH PERIODS TODAY.

 

5.   The VOLLEYBALL TEAM is in NEED of STATS and a VIDEO RECORDER.  ANYONE interested should SEE a TEAM MEMBER or contact Heather Hutchinson.

 

6.   GIRL’S GOLF PRACTICE TODAY will be at LAKELAND GOLF COURSE at 3:00.

 

7.   There will be a MANDATORY STUDENT SENATE/CLASS OFFICER MEETING for ALL MEMBERS NEXT Tuesday AFTER SCHOOL at 2:10 in Mrs. Lichty’s room.

 

8.   BOYS GOLF completed a SEASON SWEEP of Urbana LAST NIGHT BEATING the Hillclimbers 169 to 181.  MEDALIST, Dylon Allen, led Graham with a 40, Austin Hicks shot 41 and Luke Ward 46.  Richard Hawke sank a 50-foot BIRDIE PUTT on his way to a season BEST 42.  CONGRATULATIONS BOYS GOLF!

 

9.   ANY STUDENT interested in being a part of the BPA OFFICER TEAM needs to SEE Mrs. Atkinson or Miss Cromwell TODAY if you have not already done so..

 

10. ANY STUDENT who is ELIGIBLE for FREE LUNCHES MAY be ELIGIBLE for VOUCHERS from the Champaign County Department of Job and Family Services for the Prevention,  Retention and Contingency Back –to-School Clothing Program.  If you QUALIFY, you will RECEIVE a $100 VOUCHER to PURCHASE CLOTHING at the URBANA WALMART.  The Champaign County Department of Job and Family Services will be ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS BEGINNING NEXT WEEK.  FOR MORE INFORMATION about the SPECIFICS, CONTACT them at 484-1500 or STOP by the MAIN OFFICE for more INFORMATION.
