1. SENIOR SUPERLATIVE VOTING is THIS WEEK! SENIORS CHECK your EMAIL for a LINK to the VOTING FORM. REPRESENTATIVES will be going to SENIOR FLIGHT TIMES to HELP with instructions. You MUST LOGIN to your GRAHAM ACCOUNT and you may only VOTE ONCE.

2. REMINDER: Family and friends have put together a fundraising event for Devon Allen, a Graham graduate, who suffered a traumatic brain injury. Everyone is invited to the “Small Steps 5K” which will take place on Sunday afternoon, April 17, at 3:00 at the GYAA Baseball Park. You can walk or run to show support for Devon and his family. 3. If you are a SENIOR and you are looking for SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES and you PLAN to MAJOR in a BUSINESS RELATED FIELD, STOP by the GUIDANCE OFFICE for an APPLICATION for THE DAILY GRIND GOOD STEWARD SCHOLARSHIP. The DEADLINE to TURN IN your APPLICATION is Friday, April 22.

4. This is FFA WEEK: To CELEBRATE WEAR a HAT to SCHOOL THURSDAY (4/7). If you PLAN to WEAR a HAT, you MUST PURCHASE a STICKER. The STICKER MUST be DISPLAYED on your HAT. STICKERS will be SOLD TODAY (4/5) and TOMORROW (4/6) DURING LUNCH PERIODS for $1.00. ALL PROCEEDS will go to CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL. FFA FUN FACTS: It takes approximately 1.4 gallons of milk to make 1 gallon of ice cream; in the winter-apple trees need to rest for about 900 to 1000 hours below 45 degrees Fahrenheit in order to flower and fruit properly; pumpkins are 90% water; lettuce is the 2nd most popular fresh vegetable; pigs can’t sweat-they have no sweat glands which is why they roll around in mud to cool off; 1 in 3 farm acres is planted for export; more than 100 agricultural crops in the US are pollinated by bees-in fact 1 out of 3 bites of food people eat is thanks to honeybees and Americans spend 10% of their income on food-which is the lowest of any country.
